Schubert Drei Klavierstucke D. 946
Mozart Rondo in A minor
Rachmaninov Piano Sonata No. 2
Rising star Hungarian pianist Daniel Lebhardt has been winning piano prizes across Europe, America and Russia. He begins his rich programme with three rhythmic and danceable little masterpieces from Schubert. The tone changes as Mozart’s melancholy and poignant Rondo in A minor, described as a “cascade of pearls”, leads into Rachmaninov’s rhapsodic and visceral second piano sonata from 1913.
Concert lasts an hour & ticket price includes tea, coffee and cake.
