Monday 18 June, 7pm, Level 4 Foyer, Royal Concert Hall – programmed as part of Nottingham Refugee week

Join music presenter, Jonathan James, to discover how brilliant migrant composers like Erich Korngold, Max Steiner and Miklos Rosza created the glorious sound of the Golden Age of Hollywood with scores for legendary movies like King Kong, Ben Hur and The Adventures of Robin Hood. This informal introduction will include clips from the films and musical extracts delivered in state-of-the-art sound, courtesy of Nottingham HiFi Centre.

Admission: Free, advance booking required.

There will be a retiring collection in aid of Nottingham Refugee Forum.
