Roxanna Panufnik: New Work WORLD PREMIERE
The outstanding singers and instrumentalists of the National Youth Training Choir and South Asian Music Youth Orchestra join forces to celebrate the power, colour and energy of South Asian choral music. Join us for an incredible journey through a world of unforgettable sounds and rhythms, from the mysterious tones of traditional raga to the outrageous vitality of Kollywood.
This concert is the first at the Royal Concert Hall by the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain, and comes at the beginning of a major new partnership between NYCGB, Nottinghamshire Music Hub and TRCH to develop choral participation and audiences in the county. It also features the world premiere of a new work by Roxanna Panufnik, ‘Unending Love’
