Located in the heart of Nottingham’s vibrant city centre, the Royal Concert Hall auditorium is an accessible central location to hold your event to accommodate up to 2200 people.

By hiring the Royal Concert Hall auditorium, you also get access to our smaller break out rooms and spaces which are adaptable to suit your needs.

Want to make your event extra special? We are pleased to work with our in-house partner, CGC Event Caterers, to deliver catering packages that can be tailored to suit your specific needs and budget.

Please note we do not offer our foyer spaces and suites without auditorium hire.

 

Royal Concert Hall Auditorium

The Royal Concert Hall’s versatility and size  makes it an ideal venue for business and presentation events. Over the past 35 years we have hosted graduation ceremonies, AGM’s and conferences including major national events with guests including The National Trust, Boots, the British Hip Society, WE Charity and the Rotary Club.

The auditorium has a seated capacity of 2,200 across three tiers.

Our large 206sqm open stage is the perfect platform for your speakers and presentations and with crystal clear acoustics, a sophisticated in-house sound and lighting system that is yours to use as part of your event.

The auditorium connects to 2 adaptable foyers spaces and 3 suites, all suitable for exhibition space, breakout areas or all-important networking and social time before or after your event. Each foyer is serviced by an accessible lift and staircase access with toilet facilities on every floor.

 

Nelsons Studio

The Nelsons Studio is a versatile space for up to 100 people. With AV equipment and mobile staging available to hire, along with the option to project onto a screen or wall, the Nelson’s Studio can be the perfect place for a small performance or presentation.

The studio benefits from large windows offering plenty of natural light and with air conditioning, full lift access and an accessible toilet adjacent to the room, this space is an ideal place to host a practical event and facilitate creativity.

Cowens Suite

The Cowens Suite in the Royal Concert Hall is a popular room to host up to 40 guests.

The suite includes a wall mounted LED screen, perfect for bespoke welcome messages at your event. Day or night, the Cowens Suite offers exclusive, private access directly onto Tier 1 of the Royal Concert Hall auditorium.

The Cowens Suite is adjacent to a lift providing step free access for those with mobility difficulties and has an accessible toilet next to the room.

HSG Suite

The HSG Suite in the Royal Concert Hall is an airy private suite. This flexible space can accommodate up to 25 people.

Serviced by a lift from the ground floor of the Royal Concert Hall, the HSG Suite is fully wheelchair accessible with an accessible toilet also situated on the same floor.

Level 2 Foyer Space

Our Level 2 foyer in the Royal Concert Hall is a large, open space that can be adapted to suit your needs.

A full length bar, partnered with CGC Event Caterers, and access to a separate buffet bar provides convenient catering options for your event.

The Level 2 foyer also has accessible toilet facilities, as well as full lift access.

Level 4 Foyer Space

Our Level 4 foyer in the Royal Concert Hall has a programmable theatre lighting system, with the option to add colour washes and AV effects.

The Level 4 foyer is also serviced by a full length bar stocked with bespoke gins, fine wines and traditional favourites.

The foyer has both lift and stair access and has toilet facilities conveniently located on the same level.
