Jasmin Vardimon's New Work
Tickets £23 to £41.50
Internationally acclaimed choreographer Jasmin Vardimon returns with a groundbreaking new production that resonates with the emotional depth of her 2003 breakthrough work Lullaby. That seminal piece, set in a hospital ward, established her as an Associate Artist at Sadler’s Wells and won her numerous awards.
Now, she revisits and expands that world with a bold new production. Against the backdrop of a cold, clinical hospital landscape, Vardimon explores the emotional highs and lows of human life with her trademark fusion of wit, raw honesty, and visceral theatricality.
As Susan Sontag reminds us:
“Everyone who is born holds dual citizenship, in the kingdom of the well and in the kingdom of the sick…”
This work embraces that universal truth, confronting it with striking imagery and deeply human storytelling.
