Join Sinfonia Viva for a night of classical and popular favourites for a timeless New Year. Featuring the 4th movement of Beethoven’s Symphony No.7, Handel’s Hornpipe from Water Music, Offenbach’s Can-Can, Saint-Saëns Danse Macabre and tunes from the ever-popular Strauss. All this alongside well-loved show tunes like Lerner and Lowe’s I Could Have Danced all Night, the seductive and instantly recognisable Piazzolla’s Libertango, Gershwin’s I Got Rhythm and much more.
Led by Conductor Nicholas Kok, the Orchestra will also be joined for a few show stopping numbers, by multi-award winning soprano and recent resident soloist at Cologne Opera House, Aoife Miskelly.
With the popular 6pm start and 8.15pm finish, you’ll have plenty of time to get home afterwards to reminisce… or to continue your celebrations in town as you prefer!
