Cult hit event Solve-Along-A-Murder-She-Wrote returns to Nottingham with an interactive screening of the classic Murder, She Wrote episode “Old Habits Die Hard”. Jessica Fletcher visits a convent but soon there’s a murder that only she (or you!) can solve!

Solve-Along-A-Murder-She-Wrote returns following riotous performances of “A Fashionable Way to Die”, “Jessica Behind Bars”, “Broadway Malady”, “Birds of a Feather” and “Sing a Song of Murder”. A unique and hilarious night featuring games, prizes and audience participation, with special permission from NBC Universal Television, this critically acclaimed show was rated one of Time Out 50 Great Nights Out in London in 2021 (and 2019) and has played to sell-out audiences across the UK and Australia.

Hosted by super-fan Tim Benzie, Solve-Along-A-Murder-She-Wrote features:

* A race to solve to the crime, via the Fameometer and the Suspiciometer!
* A Cabot Cove quiz!
* A singalong to the theme tune with new lyrics!
* Clips and biogs of the campy guest stars!

Tim Benzie is obsessed with Murder, She Wrote, having watched the original series when it was first broadcast, and now relishing the repeats on television everywhere. An award-winning playwright and co-writer of the Royal Vauxhall Tavern’s 2017-2023 pantos (‘Goosed’, ‘Rubbed’, ‘Slipped’, ‘Pricked’, ‘Cracked’ and ‘Tossed’). He is the co-producer of the camp club night PopHorror.

"As soon as I saw it was on at the [Edinburgh] Fringe I elbowed my way through the other BW reviewers, pushed a couple of them over … just so I could get to the front of the queue and see this show again. And it did not disappoint ... I'd go again in a heartbeat.”

Broadway World

"The self-confessed super-fan and award-winning playwright will lead you into a silly whirlwind of nostalgic giggle, using his wealth of camp trivia and sound logic to solve these killings.”

One4Review

"Benzie knows how to put on a great show ... I would happily see it again, with all the fervour of the ‘Jessica Fletcher eating popcorn’ meme."

Everything Theatre

“You’ll be swept away with Jessica Fletcher feels … it has the BEST HOST.”

Time Out London

"A cinematic, theatrical and hilarious experience ... Before the night I had never seen an episode of Murder, She Wrote before, unlike some dedicated fans who had even dressed up. However, this really was an evening everyone could enjoy.”
