To help you plan your trip we’ve prepared a pre-completed Risk Assessment to ensure your visit to the theatre runs smoothly.

Work Experience

Due to the continuing impact of the coronavirus outbreak, sadly our work experience placements have been cancelled.

We provide the opportunity for students in Years 10 and 11 to explore the behind the scenes world of theatre by offering unique work experience placements each year.

These placements focus on the diverse job roles in departments including Marketing, Front of House, Music Programming, Box Office, Development and Management. The three-day placements will deepen students understanding of every element of our organisation, from programming and archive work, to accessibility and community outreach.

Students will take part in creative activities including; designing a marketing campaign, planning and leading a practical theatre workshop, programming music events, archiving historical materials, as well as interactive presentations and Q&A sessions.

As spaces are limited, our work experience placements are allocated on a first come first served basis. Students who are interested should send a short covering letter, outlining why they would like to take part to
