The West End In Nottingham Summer School is back for 2019!

Over 5 days, participants from two groups (aged 7 -10 year olds and 11 –16 year olds) get to develop their own Musical Theatre talents as well as gain confidence, meet new people and, most importantly, have a lot of fun during the holidays!

Each day participants will work with a performer from a different West End show. They will learn choreography, songs and scenes as well as get a chance to have their questions answered in the Q&A session with each West End Performer.  This year’s Summer School will focus on Motown the Musical, Annie, The Sound of Music and The Lion King!

As in previous year’s we anticipate demand to be very high for places, please click on the link below for the enrolment form and payment details.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch with our Creative Learning Department on 0115 989 5627 or caroline.pope@nottinghamcity.gov.uk

RSC Associate Schools Programme
The Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall is proud to be the Lead Theatre Partner in the RSC Associate School Programme in Nottingham. We will be working in partnership with the RSC and our Lead Schools, the P6P to bring about a significant change in the way young people experience, engage with, and take ownership of the work of Shakespeare. Teachers will learn, with their students in the way actors do in a rehearsal room, using dynamic, active approaches. The P6P and other Associate schools will develop a strong bond with the RSC and TRCH. We are ambassadors for each other.
