A familiar face to Nottingham Classics audiences, giving foyer recitals for our concerts since 2018, Li Min Ong is a Singaporean pianist and researcher and a University of Nottingham alumna (Law, 2019). Since 2015, she has been studying piano with Paul Roberts, and more recently she has worked with Ekaterina Nemirovitch-Danchenko in Geneva, and Lim Yan in Singapore.
Her repertoire focuses on the Romantic and Post-Impressionist periods, especially Maurice Ravel. As a researcher, her interests are regulating AI and the effects of digitalised frontline public services. Li Min is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in the University of York, and also plays in the jazz and big bands.
