Duo Aerius, comprising violin and guitar, was formed by two Masters degree students at the Royal Northern College of Music when violinist, Christopher, was looking for a guitarist to teach him to play the mandolin. They gave their first performance at Forsyth Music Shop in Manchester playing Chris Godhard’s arrangement of The Lark Ascending. Since then they have performed in and around Manchester, expanding their repertoire with new arrangements of classic works.
